Kuwait National Digital Rally ....

The end of the Rally Digital Kuwait • Anas Qanati in the first place followed by Mohammed Al Dhafiri in second place and Dhari Saidi in third place. • 36 contestants participated in the first electronic rally to be held in Kuwait. • Participants competed from home over a week to win the rally. The Kuwait Digital Rally, organized by the Kuwait International Motorsport Club in collaboration with the Kuwait International Automobile Club (KT), concluded on Tuesday. The rally manager, Mashari Al Dhafiri, said that the competition lasted for a week from May 27 to June 2, 2020, where participants from their homes competed to win the first positions, and al-Dhafiri said that 36 contestants participated in this rally, including many experienced contestants who participated in the rally. Local and international, however, the nature of the electronic rally is different from the actual rally in the field and the final results of the electronic rally were summed up by the victory of Anas Qanani in the first place, which did not participate definitively in the field rallies after a strong competition with Mohammed Al Dhafiri, the field rally racer who participated in many local and international rallies. The organizing committee intends to present prizes to the winners at home in compliance with health guidelines under the Corona pandemic. Mr. Issa Hamza, Secretary General of the Kuwait International Motorsport Club, also stated that the club's board of directors, headed by Mr. Emad Boukhamseen, took the initiative to find an alternative to field sports activity, especially since we are currently living in a different life situation in light of the recommended social divergence. By the health authorities in the country and in the world in general and since the FiA had adopted e-motorsport last year, Hamza said that this digital rally is the first in Kuwait and there will be many electronic events organized by the club in the summer. He added that the club participated last year in the first motorsport championship organized by the International Automobile Federation in Rome, which included the Digital Gt Racing Championship, but the difference between the Rome Championship and the Digital Rally in Kuwait is that the contestants participated from their homes. Hamza also pointed out that this type of electronic competition can attract a much larger number of participants than the field rally because the cost of participating in field rallies is very high in terms of buying cars and preparing them and equipping a team for maintenance, digital races the cost is negligible so once you get a PlayStation or Xbox or even via the Internet can participate. Hamza thanked Mashari Al-Dhafiri and Mashari Al-Sabti for their efforts to organize the digital rally.
