Tuesday, the General Assembly of the Arab Council of Automobile Clubs emanating from the FIA was held, via the Zoom platform, in the presence of representatives of 20 Arab countries belonging to the FIA, and Mr. Essa Hamzah was elected unanimously as Chairman of the Council, succeeding Mr. Mohammed Bin Sulayem from the United Arab Emirates United Arab Emirates, who decided to run for the upcoming elections for the presidency of the International Automobile Federation. 

 

This victory, presided over by the Arab Council of Automobile Clubs, qualifies Mr. Essa Hamzah to continue his current position as Vice President of the International Automobile Federation for the next four years and a member of the Board of Directors of the First Region of the International Automobile Federation, and the first region of the International Automobile Federation consists of European, African and Arab countries in the East. The Middle and North Africa, and the first region concerned with matters of tourism, mobility, traffic safety, environment and customs.

 

 


Mr. Essa Hamzah expressed his thanks to all the members of the Arab Council of Automobile Clubs who placed their confidence in it, and also expressed his thanks and appreciation to Mr. Muhammad Bin Sulayem for his leadership of the Council during the previous years and for his tireless work to advance the Council and develop the work in it and wished him success in running for the elections. Coming to the presidency of the International Automobile Federation.
